According to Proctor and Gamble, 57 percent of women still dye their hair to cover up the gray.

And the environmental impacts are real. You’d be floored by the number of chemicals that go down the drain with every hair dye, and there’s evidence that some later show up in freshwater fish, groundwater supplies, and local waterways. Luckily, we live in a country that can withstand these environmental impacts. Thank you for making this easier by ditching the dye! Unfortunately, not every country has been privileged with consumable and clean drinking water.

800 million people don’t have this most basic need.

Many of us have no idea what it’s like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink—even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections, and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

We are excited to announce that Revolution Gray will be holding fundraising campaigns to help charity: water, a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Throughout the year we’ll be donating a percentage of sales from our events to charity: water. Be on the look out for the latest news, or you can make a small donation now.

We are really excited about getting involved and taking a stand for those who don’t have this basic need. We hope you join us!
