Two years ago, Cecelia Mattera embarked on a dramatic change of direction in her life journey. For 33 years she was fortunate enough to fulfill her desire to teach art and inspire passion for life in a suburban high school. After raising two beautiful souls (now young men) in a modest 3 bedroom ranch in a lovely town, the time had come for her to replenish her own spirit. She reduced her belongings to one suitcase and a backpack (ok, the good china, her bike, and some photos are in storage). Currently, she is traveling the world solo and with friends (60 countries) gaining truly remarkable experiences.
